Internship - Marketing/Advertising, Seasonal - June-August 2013

This is a fantastic opportunity for a summer job.  Road Track and Trail is looking to hire an intern or college/high school co-op position for 90 days.  The candidate for this position will be extremely outspoken and charismatic, with a proven record of familiarity with YouTube, Blog, or other website videos. 

The position entails taking video of motorcycles, describing the vehicle to spectators as well as capturing RTT Summer events.  This candidate will not be camera shy as they will be featured in the videos.  Short videos will post directly to YouTube and Craig's List.  Other videos will include customer interviews, sales and specials, facebook giveaways, etc.

This position pays $8-$13 according to experience, 20-30 hours per week.  Looking for a high energy applicant that can create a special "character" for this summer video series.

 Service Writer - Active May 14, 2013

Road Track and Trail is the world's largest pre-owned powersports dealership and we are looking for a Service Writer/Parts Department Representative.  Experience in this industry is preferred.  Daily operations include answering phones, looking up parts info via internet, books and software; calculating service invoices, preparing service records and general customer service in person, over the phone and email.  The ideal candidate will have an excellent memory, with knowledge about all service vehicles in the store.

This position will work closely with the other members of the parts/service department.  You will be expected to assist in these positions and aid in payment collection, customer care and product knowledge.  You will keep customers informed on the status of their vehicles and correspond with the technicians for parts and service needed. 

This position is typically a 5-day work week with some overtime in Spring/Summer.   Saturday's are mandatory.  Hours may be decreased in winter.   Please see hours of operation.  A proven history of excellent customer service, multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail/operations is necessary.  This individual will be punctual, reliable and respectful.

Now hiring for full time Parts/Service replacement position. This position is typically a 5-day work week with some overtime in Spring/Summer. Hours may be decreased in winter. Please see hours of operation.

Road Track and Trail has two Parts and Service departments, and this position will focus mainly in our motorcycle building. Looking to hire in February for an experienced P & A representative. Powersports experience is not necessary but is a plus. Must be able to multi-task and work well with others. Excellence in customer service is required.

This position entails ordering parts, scheduling appointments, answering a large volume of calls, selling aftermarket parts, accessories and apparel, inventory and shipping. The candidate will be open to working with all types of people and have a friendly, positive attitude.

What we are looking for in a potential employee...

- Detail-oriented, keeps good notes and records

- Maintains an upbeat attitude toward staff and customers in an extremely busy environment

- Quick thinking, decision making skills and problem solving

- Experience in Parts and Service is preferred but not necessary

- Knowledge of ordering systems, dealer software and similar products is preferred but not necessary

- An understanding/enthusiasm for the powersports industry is preferred

Road, Track, and Trail LLC is the Nations Largest Preowned Powersports Dealer, and we just had another great year selling over 2900 preowned units (the most by any dealer in WI).   That includes motorcycles, atvs, utvs and snowmobiles.   In 2011 and 2012 we were awarded "The Nations Best Independent Award".  For 2013 we became 4 time winners of the Dealers Top 100.  So... with all that being said we have a replacement sales position available and we are looking for the right person to join our team.

- The Full Time Sales Position is 100% commission.  We do offer a helper salary for the first 2 months to get you going. If you can sell, work a computer, talk to people , and you have passion for powersports you will love it here. We sell a product that makes people happy!!

- Hours -- Monday Through Thursday 10 to 7, Friday 10 to 6 , Saturday 10 to 3.  In the fall and winter we offer our sales people the 5 day schedule if you need it.    40 to 49 hour work week

-Ideal Person- Someone that has some experience in sales. Especially vehicle sales.  Someone who has some powersport knowledge.  You need to be able to "juggle" customers.   Computer and typing skills.  Phone skills a plus.  Ability to stay late if your customer needs your help. With 35 employees here you will need to be a team player.   Saturdays are a must.
